Runningburn is a unique, family-run wedding and events venue set in the heart of the Scottish Borders countryside, surrounded by rolling hills and breathtaking views. With a modern barn that blends the flexibility of a marquee with the comfort of a permanent structure, it provides a beautiful and versatile space for everything from intimate gatherings to large celebrations. History
Once a fully operational farm, Runningburn has been thoughtfully transformed into a beautiful wedding venue while still retaining its rural charm. Many of the original features remain, giving a subtle nod to its farming past and adding character to its warm, countryside setting.
Still a Farm At Heart
Runningburn remains a working animal farm at the heart of the Scottish Borders, adding authentic countryside charm and character to the venue. A nod to its farming roots can still be seen throughout the grounds, most notably in the iconic metal ring feeder — now beautifully transformed into a unique backdrop for wedding ceremonies and one of the venue’s most recognisable features.
